Snake means two different things in jewelry, and this collection holds both. It describes a way of building a chain, and it describes the animal itself. The link between them is the same one a jeweller made centuries ago: a chain of flat interlocking links that bends in every direction and catches light along its length looks like a snake in motion.

Snake chain is made from flat plates set edge to edge so closely that the surface reads as continuous metal rather than links. It has no visible gaps, which is why it reflects light as a single ribbon, and it drapes rather than hangs. The trade-off is that it does not tolerate sharp kinks — a snake chain wants to be stored flat or hung, not knotted in a drawer.

Tubogas is the same idea built at scale. Two strips of metal coiled around a form and joined edge to edge, with no soldering along the length, producing a tube that flexes as a whole.
