This rope chain is made in 14K yellow gold. A rope chain twists small links into a spiral, so it catches light along its whole length. At 4 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. Its construction is solid, meaning gold all the way through each link rather than a hollow tube, so it keeps its shape and can be repaired. Available in 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″, 30″. As a guide, at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest; at 22″ it rests mid-chest.
At 14K, the metal is 58.5% pure gold: warm in colour, hard enough for everyday wear, and it will not tarnish. Wear it alone, or layer it with a finer chain at a shorter length.
