This rope chain is made in 14K yellow gold. A rope chain twists small links into a spiral, so it catches light along its whole length. At 3.2 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. It is hollow construction, which keeps the look of a larger piece at a lighter weight; hollow pieces dent more easily than solid ones. Available in 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″. As a guide, at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest; at 22″ it rests mid-chest.
14K gold is 58.5% pure gold. It keeps a rich colour while staying hard enough for daily wear, and it does not tarnish. Wear it alone, or layer it with a finer chain at a shorter length.
