This wheat chain is made in 10K yellow gold. A wheat chain braids oval links into a pattern that resembles a stalk of wheat, smooth to the touch and textured to the eye. At 1 mm it is a fine chain, made for a small pendant or for layering. Available in 16″, 18″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone.
At 10K the metal is 41.7% gold; the higher share of alloy makes it harder and more scratch-resistant than 14K. Wear it alone, or layer it with a finer chain at a shorter length.
