This rope chain is made in 10K yellow gold. A rope chain twists small links into a spiral, so it catches light along its whole length. At 2 mm it is an everyday width that works alone or layered with others. Its construction is solid, meaning gold all the way through each link rather than a hollow tube, so it keeps its shape and can be repaired. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
10K gold is 41.7% pure gold, alloyed with stronger metals, which makes it harder-wearing and more resistant to scratches than higher karats. Pair it with a pendant, or wear it plain at the collarbone.
