This rope chain is made in 10K yellow gold. A rope chain twists small links into a spiral, so it catches light along its whole length. At 4 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. It is hollow construction, which keeps the look of a larger piece at a lighter weight; hollow pieces dent more easily than solid ones. Available in 20″, 22″, 24″. As a guide, at 20″ it lands on the upper chest; at 22″ it rests mid-chest; at 24″ it sits lower on the chest and over clothing.
10K gold is 41.7% pure gold, alloyed with stronger metals, which makes it harder-wearing and more resistant to scratches than higher karats. Pair it with a pendant, or wear it plain at the collarbone.
