Diamond Stud Earrings
The singular
point.
Carat is a decision, the setting is protection, and the backs are security. How to choose studs you will wear every day.

Carat
Studs are described in total carat weight (ctw), the combined weight of both stones. Between 0.50 and 1.00 ctw is the everyday range: present without being loud. Choose the weight your ear will carry comfortably all day.
| Total carat weight | Each ear | On the ear |
|---|---|---|
| 0.50 ctw | 0.25 ct | Clean, minimal point of light |
| 1.00 ctw | 0.50 ct | The classic everyday stud |
| 1.50 ctw | 0.75 ct | Clear presence |
| 2.00 ctw | 1.00 ct | A statement |
How large a stud looks also depends on its cut and setting; use this as a starting point.

Setting
Prong settings let in the most light and show the most of the stone. Bezel settings wrap the edge in metal, protecting it and giving a sleek, modern line.

Backs
Screw backs thread onto the post and are the most secure, the right choice for sleeping and travel. Push backs are quicker to put on and take off.
Questions
Is there a visible difference between lab-grown and mined studs?
No. They have the same optical properties. The difference is origin and price, and every Peelerie diamond is lab-grown and certified.
Can I sleep in diamond studs?
Yes, if the setting is low and the backs are comfortable. Screw backs keep them in place.
