Puffed Mariner, Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver

This chain is made in sterling silver, rhodium plated. Mariner links are ovals with a bar across the centre, a pattern taken from anchor chain. The puffed form is rounded and three-dimensional rather than flat. At 9.2 mm it is a bold, substantial chain. It weighs 46.9 g. Length: 24″. As a guide, at 24″ it sits lower on the chest and over clothing.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver. A rhodium finish gives it a bright white surface and slows tarnishing. It works on its own or as the base of a layered set.
