This herringbone chain is made in 10K yellow gold. Herringbone is made of flat, slanted links that lie in a smooth, liquid band; store it flat so it keeps its shape. At 3.8 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
At 10K the metal is 41.7% gold; the higher share of alloy makes it harder and more scratch-resistant than 14K. Pair it with a pendant, or wear it plain at the collarbone.
