This round chain is made in 14K yellow gold. Box chain is made of square links joined into a smooth, square-section line that is strong for its weight. At 1.6 mm it is an everyday width that works alone or layered with others. Its construction is solid, meaning gold all the way through each link rather than a hollow tube, so it keeps its shape and can be repaired. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″, 24″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
