This curb chain is made in 14K white gold. Curb links are twisted so each one lies flat against the next, giving a smooth, even line. At 3.6 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. Its construction is solid, meaning gold all the way through each link rather than a hollow tube, so it keeps its shape and can be repaired. Available in 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″, 30″. As a guide, at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest; at 22″ it rests mid-chest.
14K gold (58.5% gold) balances colour and durability, which is why it is the standard for fine jewelry worn daily; it does not tarnish. Wear it alone, or layer it with a finer chain at a shorter length.
