This chain is made in 18K white gold. Box chain is made of square links joined into a smooth, square-section line that is strong for its weight. At 0.6 mm it is a fine chain, made for a small pendant or for layering. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
18K gold is 75% pure gold, with a deeper colour and a softer feel than 14K. It works on its own or as the base of a layered set.
