This chain is made in 14K white gold. Box chain is made of square links joined into a smooth, square-section line that is strong for its weight. At 0.68 mm it is a fine chain, made for a small pendant or for layering. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″, 24″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
At 14K, the metal is 58.5% pure gold: warm in colour, hard enough for everyday wear, and it will not tarnish. It works on its own or as the base of a layered set.
