This curb chain is made in 14K white gold. Curb links are twisted so each one lies flat against the next, giving a smooth, even line. At 2.6 mm it has presence on its own and does not need a pendant. Its construction is solid, meaning gold all the way through each link rather than a hollow tube, so it keeps its shape and can be repaired. Available in 16″, 18″, 20″, 24″. As a guide, at 16″ it sits at the base of the neck; at 18″ it falls just below the collarbone; at 20″ it lands on the upper chest.
At 14K, the metal is 58.5% pure gold: warm in colour, hard enough for everyday wear, and it will not tarnish. It works on its own or as the base of a layered set.
