Most jewelry is sold on adjectives. This is what ours is made of, and how you can check.
Stamped 14K. Built around air.
A hollow gold chain is genuinely 14K. The stamp is real, the metal is real, and it can weigh a third of what a solid chain of the same dimensions weighs. It will often cost you nearly the same.
Nothing about this is illegal. Almost none of it is disclosed. The same is true of plating — a thin layer of gold over base metal, sold with language that never quite says so.
The industry learned it could say very little and still charge a great deal.
We tell you what it is.
Peelerie exists so you don't have to guess. We work in solid 14K gold and certified lab-grown diamonds, and we're building every product page toward the same standard: metal, weight, stone and grade, stated plainly.
That's the promise. Not that every piece is the most expensive construction available — that you'll know which one you're holding.
A note from the founder
I've worked across a few industries and a few continents, and the lesson was always the same: you learn what something is worth by understanding how it's made.
Jewelry surprised me. Pieces sold as gold that were mostly base metal. Chains stamped 14K and built around air. None of it illegal, almost none of it explained.
Peelerie started as a correction. It's a small house, and the standard is the point.
